The Government of India has asked all beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to complete their annual e-KYC verification before 30 June 2026.
Officials have stated that the verification drive is being carried out to improve transparency, remove invalid records, and ensure that financial assistance reaches only genuine and eligible farmers.
According to government instructions, farmers who do not complete the e-KYC process within the prescribed timeline may face delays in receiving future PM Kisan installments.
The annual e-KYC requirement has become an important part of the PM Kisan scheme. Authorities have fixed 30 June 2026 as the deadline for beneficiaries to update and verify their details.
The move is aimed at maintaining an accurate database and preventing misuse of the scheme.
Farmers can complete their e-KYC through different methods.
Officials have encouraged farmers to complete the process as early as possible to avoid last-minute difficulties.
Government officials say the annual verification exercise helps identify duplicate, inactive, or incorrect beneficiary records.
The objective is to ensure that PM Kisan funds are transferred only to eligible and active farmers across the country.
The updated verification system is also expected to improve data security and reduce the possibility of fraudulent claims.
Agriculture department officials have also warned farmers to remain alert against cyber fraud.
Beneficiaries have been advised not to share OTPs, bank details, or personal information with unknown callers claiming to provide PM Kisan services.
Authorities clarified that no private individual is authorized to collect money for beneficiary selection or verification.

The PM Kisan scheme remains one of India's largest farmer welfare programmes, providing direct financial assistance to eligible farmers. Officials have urged beneficiaries to complete verification on time to avoid any disruption in receiving future benefits.
